Privacy Policy

Effective: October 22, 2026

The 313 Prayer app and 313prayer.com are made by AXM Works LLC. The app needs no account, shows no ads, contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell any data.

Location

Location is optional. By default the app uses Kuwait City. If you choose "my location", the app asks for approximate (coarse) location only, uses it on your phone to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction, and stores it on your phone.

To cross-check the prayer times once a day, the app sends coordinates rounded to about one kilometre, with the date and time zone, to api.aladhan.com. No identifier of you or your device is sent.

Downloaded content

Adhan voices, dua recitations, the dua list and the calendar occasions are downloaded from our content server rainsalt.com. The qibla map shows tiles from OpenStreetMap, Esri and CARTO when you open it. As with any internet connection, these servers receive your IP address and the time of the request and may keep them briefly in ordinary technical logs; we do not link them to any person.

What stays on your phone

Settings, chosen voices and downloaded recitations stay on your phone only, and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. We keep no data about you on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete or export.

Permissions

• Notifications, exact alarms, full-screen intent and a media-playback foreground service: to play the adhan on time over the lock screen.
• Run at start-up and ignore battery optimisation: so the adhan is not missed.
• Approximate location: optional, as above.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

The web app (313prayer.com/app)

The web app calculates the times in your browser. Your settings, and your location if you choose "my location", are kept in your browser only and are not sent anywhere. The web app does not contact api.aladhan.com.

The dua list, recitations and calendar occasions load from 313prayer.com, and the qibla map shows tiles from Esri and OpenStreetMap when you open it. To remove everything, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

313prayer.com

The website uses no cookies and no analytics, and its fonts are served from the site itself. Your language choice is kept in your own browser only.
